Intersections and Pre-Euro Life

A lovely surprise from a Dutch postcrosser. Her oversized card was a cartoon drawing of Drielandenpunt, or Three Lands Point. It's where the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium meet. Reminded me of Four Corners in the US, where Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah meet. Nothing special is made of these locations in Europe and the States, just a little sign or monument identifying the facts. The surprise was in the stamps she used, which were from the pre-Euro days. I guess there aren't expiration dates on these things, unlike some other things such as the NYC subway token...
