Nizhnee Buibinskoe Lake - Knitted

Here's a bit of knitting on a postcard from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. A city in Siberia, it was part of the gulag prison camp system during Stalinist times. It is a major junction of the Trans-Siberian Railway, and the place Anton Chekov deemed the most beautiful city in Siberia. The view of the Buibinskoe lake is spectacular and it is now on my bucket list.
